We had an absolutely wonderful experience with VIP Tours Cozumel. They took us snorkeling at four different locations—three beautiful reefs and the El Cielo sandbar. The highlight was enjoying ceviche and drinks served on a floating table in the crystal-clear water. Our guides were fantastic—Martín was our skilled and friendly captain, and Rayas snorkeled alongside us, pointing out sea life and making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!
From start to finish they were FANTASTIC. This was our best day except that one of family members felt so bad he could not go with us. We took a private snorkeling trip to 3 reefs. It included lunch, snorkel gear if needed, a photographer, boat driver and snorkel guide/guard. We met up with owner at the Starbucks outside the port area and he arranged a taxi to take us to the boat, there his son met us, got us on the boat and from there the driver and guide took us out to the most beautiful water and reefs I have ever seen. 10 shades of blue, clear, warm water. We saw a sea turtle, nurse shark, rays, starfish and more. I will say that the first spot was a bit rough water wise and we are all good swimmers. I think it would be hard if you were not, but since private tour they can tailor it to meet your swim levels. The staff were helpful, friendly and kind. Totally focused on our enjoyment and satisfaction from start to finish. This did not cost anymore than an excursion from the boat but definitely was more personable. We were out for 4.5-5 hours total and felt safe the entire time. I HIGHLY recommend this tour company. The owners name is Rogelio and his son is Christopher. Boat driver and guide were Dario and Sol. You won’t regret this trip. Christopher took pictures and videos of our entire time and they are so good. We bought them - definitely worth it! We did not want to leave the water :). VIP tours offered a private drive and professional tour of Chichèn Itza and Senote Ikkal. We had a great day learning about the Mayan culture and history. Luis was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the ruins. We had time to view the ancient ruins at our own pace, take pictures, and be creative. Lunch was fantastic and exactly what we wanted; local, authentic, and delicious. The Senote was beautiful!! Thank you again for an awesome and safe tour !!
Some of the best customer service i’ve ever received for our snorkelling tour in Cozumel! We booked a private boat for 3 families with 5 children all under the age of 6 with Rogelio and he did not disappoint! Rogelio was quick to respond to all of my questions from the time of booking all the way up to the day before the tour (all message were responded within 2 minutes). Here is a summary of our day with VIP tours: We got picked up in front of our resort at the EXACT scheduled time by our transportation provided by VIP tours and headed to Playa Del Carmen. Rogelio offered to meet us in playa to guide us from our arrival to Playa, onto the Ferry to Cozumel, he stayed with us during the tour, and brought us back to Playa at the end of the day which was a big relief as it was our first time taking the Ferry to Cozumel. He bought all of our ferry tickets and added it to the final bill to make it easier for us to watch the kids and not have to wait in the ticket line. He also pulled our kids wagon the entire tour, and it was packed full of stuff and kids!! THANK YOU! Our private boat had plenty of room for everyone and the crew was amazing. We had a young girl on board who was there to entertain the kids, swim with them, and watch them if the kids wanted to stay on the boat while the adults snorkel. She was the sweetest! Our boat lunch was delicious, with some of the freshest ceviche i’ve ever had, also an abundance of fruits, quesadillas, salsa and guac, juice boxes for kids, alcohol for adults. Snorkeling was great, the kids loved seeing the big sting rays swim around the boat at cielo beach. I would say that the kids might have been too young to fully enjoy the snorkelling but it was still a great first snorkelling experience for them. I would definitely recommend gravol before the boat ride, especially for the kids…. 3/5 got sick on the boat. The weather was a bit rainy with some wind but nonetheless we had a fantastic time with VIP tours! HIGHLY recommend booking with Rogelio and bringing your kids to experience the beautiful waters of Cozumel. We will be back!
We had the best experience with VIP tours! We used them for both transportation services from Cancun airport to Playa Ferry to Cozumel hotel. And then also a private Jeep and ATV tour of the Jade Cenote and the island. The comfort and professionalism we had with both Christopher and Rogelio was top notch! They took the stress off of us! The communication was perfect, there was no language barrier, they listened and Accommodated us and our children ages 6 and 17. We are extremely grateful for their knowledge to help make these experiences so perfect for our family! We highly recommend VIP tours for any tour you want to go on!
